VAT, reverse charge and CIS for plasterers
If you're under the £90,000 VAT registration threshold and not registered, you don't charge VAT, and BrewQuote says so clearly on the quote.
Plastering is construction work under CIS. As a subcontractor, the contractor deducts 20% from your labour (30% if you're not CIS registered), and BrewQuote shows what you'll be paid.
If you are VAT registered and working for a VAT and CIS-registered contractor, the domestic reverse charge usually applies.
