Quote a painter and decorator job by voice

VAT, reverse charge and CIS for painters & decorators
Painting and decorating counts as construction work under CIS, so contractors you work for may deduct CIS from your labour.
If you're not VAT registered, BrewQuote shows no VAT. If you are, domestic decorating is standard-rated at 20%.
Working for a VAT and CIS-registered contractor while VAT registered yourself usually means the reverse charge applies.
