## What's on the template

| Section | What to write |

| Your details | Business name, address, phone, email, VAT number and UTR if you have them |
| Customer and job address | Who the quote is for and where the work is |
| Quote number, date, valid until | So you can refer to it and protect yourself if prices rise |
| Description of work | Exactly what's included. Anything not listed isn't |
| Itemised lines | Labour and materials separately, with quantities and prices |
| VAT and CIS | VAT rate and amount, reverse charge wording if it applies, CIS deduction on labour |
| Terms | Deposit, payment, what happens if the job changes or is cancelled |
| Right to cancel | For homeowners: the 14-day notice and cancellation form |
| Acceptance | Signature, name and date |
